It's beanie time again. One of the few things I missed during summer.

A rather casual and cosy, but not gray look was my goal today.

Of course my back is bright as well. Furby approves for sure.

Forget what I told you in my last outfit post about turning into my less quirky and more elegant "Winter-Me": Today it's time for a true colour orgy! I decided that not even the cold weather can keep me from wearing my jelly sandals and I finally found a jumper that seemed to be made to feed my hunger for brightness and rainbow colours. The more gray and black clothes I see on the street, the bigger my urge to dress bright gets.

It's called Furby and I think the name was chosen well. When I first discovered it, I couldn't decide if it is the most ugly or the most awesome jumper I've ever seen. It looks like being made by a mad designer, who used all the left overs of yarn he found and made this piece of clothing. When it arrived I instantly loved it so much, the decision was made: It's truly amazing and it makes me happy! I just saw a picture of Katy Perry wearing it as well, how lovely to be her style sister!

Winter time is beanie time. I was very much addicted to veiled ones last year and after considering for a moment if this should be over by now, I couldn't resist to customize another beanie with a beautiful birdcage veil. I love to be the pink dot in a gray winter landscape.

Wishing you a colourful day my lovelies and I am curious to hear what you think about this look!

A Crush On Shoes

Pom Pom shoe: Irregular Choice,  Black Boot with Triangle Cutout Heel: Jennifer Chou,
Shoe with Roses: Chinese Laundry, Purple Platform shoes: Black Milk, Jelly Pumps with Hearts: Mel by Melissa, Glitter Heel Shoe: Jeffrey Campbell

I didn't miss that winter has arrived, but let me tell you something: I think buying (proper) winter shoes is not much fun. Most of the times the shoes you can wear on icy streets are heavy, big and look not like much fun. Therefore I rather have my eyes on pretty high heels. Spending money on beauties like those, makes me happy and this is reason enough to say the money is well invested.

Here I show you my personal selection of shoes I am in love with at the moment. All of them have something very special: They are either decorated in a cool way, have a special heel or a cool fabric.

I think the Jeffery Campbell boot with the transparent heel filled with glitter, would be the perfect shoe for the festive season. It must look beautiful when the glitter sparkles and moves while walking. Almost like a snow globe. The Mel by Melissa shoe with the hearts is already a classic since the peep toe version from Vivienne Westwood for Melissa and I think it can't be missed on the shoe shelf. But I wouldn't mind at all having them all.

What do you think about these shoes, which would you love to wear?

The Huntress In Her Houndstooth Coat

Still love this oldie from Becksöndergaard. I could touch the soft eel leather all the time.
vivienne westwood, melissa, shoes, jelly
Vivienne Westwood with socks, would the queen of punk and fashion agree?

This crazy fruit girl is ready to turn into her more elegant "Winter Self" for this post. But don't worry: I'll stay quirky and next summer will come sooner than you think (maybe even in the next post). I see it as my fashion goal to reinvent my style again and again and therefore I enjoy change. I don't want to be a stereotype, I am no hipster, no vintage girl, no goth and no trash queen, I am simply me: A girl who is excited about her big playground called fashion.

This is the outfit I was wearing for my darling's birthday. We had dinner at our favourite Indian restaurant in the city. My darling bought me the green dress during our holidays in Barcelona, because he loved the colour. I thought his birthday is the perfect occasion to wear the dress for the first time.

I think what completes the look is the velvet rose fascinator from Jazzafine. While I have a lot of bigger and more crazy fascinators, I love about this one that it's delicate and has a perfect size to wear it to a lot of occasions. My Poisonberry lipstick from Lime Crime seems to be made for matching the fascinator.

These black Vivienne Westwood for Melissa shoes have been on my wish list for ages, but I missed them when they were on sale. Finally I found a new pair on a platform like Ebay and almost forgot to sleep till the bidding was over. I am a huntress I confess, but a vegetarian one and instead of animals I hunt Melissa shoes. Would you be interested to see a post with my whole collection?

I am very glad we shot this outfit, because it's connected to a wonderful day and I treasure the sweet memories. I wish you a happy day as well, it's lovely your read this post!

Lovely Label: Yiddish Chutzpah A/W 13

yiddish chutzpah, punk, girly, fashion
One day the time for a girl has come to grow up.
yiddish chutzpah, punk, silver dress, velvet dress
She dives from candy land into a more darker world.
yiddish chutzpah, pink jumper with print, coat with bow
Still a little bit girly, but as well edgy.
yiddish chutzpah, punk, cute print, girly fashion
Soft and hard, punk and cute meet each other.

Let me tell you about the new collection of Yiddish Chutzpah, one of my absolutely favourite labels from Spain. Every collection from Yiddish Chutzpah is like a journey into a new undiscovered wonderland. Whereas earlier collections were very sweet and girly, the A/W 13 collection called "Broken Dolls" is more dark and edgy.

The Yiddish Chutzpah girl used to live in a world full of sweets and candy. Now she grows up and discovers her sassy and rebellious side, while she gets rid of her dolls. She dives into the world of punk, but doesn't loose all of her sweet innocence. The new collection is a mix of the different sides of the Yiddish Chutzpah girl as well as a mix of materials: The predominant colour is black, mixed with white and silver to celebrate the age of punk.

A lot of labels reinterpret their own work and ideas collection after collection and always stick to their main ideas. Yiddish Chutzpah isn't one of those labels: This collection is a radical change and completely different from anything before. It's a new horizon, a completely different Yiddish Chutzpah and I need my piece of it for sure. It's exciting to see the reinvention of a label and it awakes a lot of excitement to see how the journey of Yiddish Chutzpah will continue.

What do you think about this collection and which piece is your favourite?

Shop the "Broken Dolls" collection here and like Yiddish Chutzpah on Facebook.

Lovely Trend: Unicorns

fashion, unicorns, tatty devine, jefferey campbell
White Necklace: Tatty Devine, Golden Necklace: Me & Zena, Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell at Miss Kl,
Dress: Yumi at Debenhams, Bag: Somewhere Nowhere, Headband: Dolly Darling

Every girl needs her very own unicorn! Not just little girls can't resist the spell of these magical creatures and sleep with a smile on their face while dreaming of them. Unicorns appear in fairy tales and movies such as "Legend", "The Last Unicorn" or "Stardust" and are always surrounded by an air of eternal beauty.

So why not include them into fashion and bring a little bit of a fairy tale into your wardrobe? Weather you go for unicorn accessories, wear them as a print on your dress or even turn yourself into one with a little unicorn horn headband, you will earn longing looks from other girls that didn't find their unicorns yet. Just like the movies taught us: A world without unicorns can't exist.

I am not able to decide for a favourite from this collection, I just wish to have everything and be a happy unicorn princess. How do you like unicorn themed fashion?

Ufo Party

jumpfrompaper, quayeyeware, quay sunglasses, ufo party look
There's an intergalactic party going on and I am on the guest list.
kitty sunglasses, quay eyeware, squid earrings, tassel earrings
I'm gonna impress the little green man with purple squid earrings.
Jump from paper, 2d bag, quay eyeware, pink kitty sunglasses
And I'll confuse them with my 2d bag.
lime crime poisonberry, quay eyeware, kitti sunglasses, neon pink glasses
Aliens always have such big eyes in movies, I try to keep up with them and wear big glasses.
capnmueller, squid earrings, tassel earrings, galaxy
The stars are shining purple tonight.
comic print, neon pink glasses, ufo party outfit, squid earrings
Hello Alien, nice to meet you!
capn mueller, purple tassel earrings, squid earrings
Are there purple squids on Mars?
Serena Kuhl, pink resin bangle, pink nails
I imagine the surface of some planets far, far away might look like my bangle.
silver high heels, glitter shoes, purple tights
Today, I'm gonna dance for you on my silver heels. Get the ufo party started!

I love party looks, even if I am no party girl that is often seen in all the clubs of the city. Calling an outfit a party look is the perfect excuse to style it bold, with a lot of glitter and statement accessories. So why not declaring the day to a party and celebrate with an outfit that means nothing but fun?

Because of the galaxy prints on my shirt and the strange but awesome squid creature earrings, I choose the title "Ufo Party" for this look. The whole outfit is a rather wild mixture of materials, prints and textures. Neon meets silver, Rough cotton is next to sleek nylon.

The shining stars of the outfit are the accessories: The neon pink 50s style sunglasses are a striking statement as well as the pink comic style bag. My ultra long squid earrings always cause such a stir whenever I wear them and I think they might as well come from another galaxy.

Despite my love for horror and science fiction movies, I love to imagine aliens as cute, a little bit crazy creatures. Maybe a little bit as in Mars Attacks from the way they look, but with a more friendly character. I think having a party with a few of this creatures I have in mind might be so much fun.

So my lovelies, what would you wear for an ufo party and how do you like this look?

My Outfit:
Shirt: Sheinside (sold out),
Skirt: American Apparel (still available in other fabrics),
Earrings: CapnmuellerSunglasses: Quay Eyeware, Shoes: No Name,
Tights: Claire's, Bangle: Serena Kuhl, Bag: JumpFromPaper

Thanks to Quay Eyeware for the sunglasses.

Lovely Trend: The Fluffy Jumper

fluffy, furry, jumper, sweater, knitwear
Pastel Mint Jumper: Somewhere Nowhere, Crop Jumper with Stripes: Unif Clothing, Jumper with Roses: New Look, Green Crop Jumper: Topshop, Leo Jumper: Topshop

Is it hate, is it love or both at the same time? Fluffy jumpers are incredibly cosy, warm and they instantly awake the strong instinct to reach out and touch them. Like Hansel and Gretel's breadcrumb path, some of them leave an awkward trail of hair behind, but you will forgive them as soon as you are freezing next time and want nothing more than your fluffy darling.

This winter, the fluffy jumper is one of the pieces you nearly can't escape (and why should anybody want to anyway?). I think they look awesome if you style them with pencil or mini skirts.

My advise on fluffy jumpers: They tend to be too hot, especially in heated rooms. If you wear a blouse beneath it doesn't just look nice, but you might as well take off your jumper before you faint from hyperthermia. ;-)

Do you love fluffy jumpers too and which one is your favourite?
